About the Hawkeye 学生食品储藏室
The Hawkeye 学生食品储藏室 was first launched by Joyce Levingston (Hawkeye 校友 and 社区 Member). Once established, it was supported by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society students. They were inspired by the growing awareness of student food insecurities shown and documented throughout their service-learning classes from Spring 2018 to Spring 2020.
2020年5月开始, the Hawkeye 学生食品储藏室 is supported through distributions from the Northeast Iowa Food Bank, donations from local supporters, gifts to the Foundation's 学生 Emergency Fund, and individual donations of non-expired food.
